Applications
Voor een snelle en duurzaam betrouwbare aansluiting van reeds gemonteerde kabels en kabelbuizen tot 20 mm in de luchtdichtingslaag binnen. Doordat lijm en dragermateriaal watervast zijn, is KAFLEX post ook geschikt voor gebruik buiten (bijv. winddichting bij onder-daken en gevels).

Installation steps
1. Preparation
Subsurfaces must have sufficient stability and be dry, level and free of dust, silicone and grease. Brush off subsurfaces; if necessary, clean with a vacuum cleaner and wipe down.
2. Open the grommet at the slit
KAFLEX post has a slit and a punched opening for the cable that is to be sealed. Gently pull the grommet apart at the slit.
3. Align the grommet
Guide the grommet with the slit around the cable and align it.
4. Stick the grommet to the subsurface
Gradually remove the lower release paper. Press the grommet into place so that it rests flat on the subsurface to be sealed and stick it in place all the way around. Rub firmly using the pro clima PRESSFIX application tool to secure the adhesive bond. Ensure that there is sufficient resistance pressure.
5. Remove the remaining release film
Finally, remove all of the release paper strips at the folded flaps
6. Rub onto the cable
Stick the folded flaps to one another and to the cable in an airtight manner, and rub firmly to secure the adhesive bond. Ensure there is good adhesion in the corners.
